At BearingNode, our mission is to simplify decision-making complexity through data, analytics, and AI. This Christmas, we're supporting an organisation that does exactly that for people facing financial hardship.


The Partnership

Crosslight Advice operates in Hammersmith and Fulham, providing free debt advice and financial literacy training. Last year, they helped over 2,000 individuals navigate financial crisis.


Our CEO, Daniel Rolles, has volunteered with Crosslight for over five years as a debt advisor. He now serves as a Trustee, leading their Fundraising Committee.


"Sitting with someone in financial crisis," Daniel explains, "you realise they need what our clients need: clear information to make informed decisions. Different domain, same fundamental challenge."


How It Works


We're contacting customers and professional contacts with a simple proposition: for every person who receives our Christmas email, BearingNode donates to Crosslight.


Recipients can opt out if they prefer. But the default is participation.



Why This Model?

Traditional fundraising creates friction. Ask, decide, find payment details, complete transaction. Each step loses people.


Our model reverses this. Participation is automatic. Opting out requires action.


This respects individual agency while maximising impact. It's decision-making design applied to social good: reduce complexity, increase transparency, deliver measurable outcomes.
